Matcha Green Tea DIY Face Mask

October 20, 2018

This is a wonderful face mask which you can make yourself at home for very little cost. You only need to make up enough for a single use each time. Most of the ingredients can easily be bought from a supermarket but if you cannot get hold of kaolin clay then just add more rice flour or matcha tea instead.

Ingredients -

1 tsp Matcha Green Tea Powder

1 tsp Rice Flour

1 tsp Kaolin Clay

½ tsp Aloe Vera

1 Green tea bag

Method -

Add all the above ingredients (not the tea bag) into a small bowl.

Add a green tea bag to a cup and cover with boiling water.Allow to steep for 5 minutes.

Remove tea bag and set tea water aside.

Once the water has cooled down to at least room temp (cool enough to touch), use this water to mix into the dry ingredients.

Use enough water to create a smooth paste.

Alternatively you can use rose water or distilled water.

Apply mask to the face and leave for 10-15 minutes.

Rinse off.
